The Harvard Undergraduate Venture Capital Group's core mission is to drive innovation by connecting founders with investors. We do so by offering our members the ability to identify promising founders, whose startups serve as successful investments for our Partner VCs.
Executive Board
Our Executive Board coordinates the organization’s operations and ensures the delivery of quality reports to VC partners. The Board guides VCG’s vision of innovation and collaboration between the entrepreneurship and venture capital communities.

Alex is a junior in Currier House concentrating in Mechanical Engineering. Alex joined VCG to learn from founders and venture capitalists about how business and innovation can most effectively converge. Beyond VCG, Alex is a Harvard Business School Roberts Family Fellow and pours his time into learning about deep and tough tech initiatives like physical AI. He loves to run, play tennis, and read in his free time.

Ryan is a junior in Cabot house studying Economics with a secondary in Philosophy. Having previously served as Director of Sourcing, he mainly oversees all of VCG’s sourcing efforts. Outside of VCG, Ryan is President of the Harvard Sports Analysis Collective. He enjoys playing golf and watching football and basketball.

Mina is a junior in Mather House, concentrating in Applied Math & Psychology. Last year, she served as the Director of Marketing, covering media and communication, particularly for the Entrepreneurship Summit. Outside of VCG, Mina plays on Club Squash, and enjoys tennis and running. This past summer, she was an intern at Corvex Management in New York, and will intern for Battery Ventures next year.

Josh is a junior concentrating in Government and Economics. He is a Venture Scout for Lightspeed Venture Partners, sourcing early-stage deals across the Harvard and MIT ecosystem. In VCG, he serves as Vice President of the Harvard Undergraduate Venture Capital Group, where he previously helped manage a sourcing pipeline for VC partners collectively managing $100B in assets. Previously at Necta Ventures, an $88.3M fund-of-funds, he conducted market and portfolio analysis across early-stage to Series C investments.

Brooke is a junior in Leverett House studying Statistics and Economics. She serves as Sourcing Director for VCG, overseeing the club’s sourcing pipeline and investment referral process. This summer, she is interning at Union Park Capital, a private equity firm, and next summer she will join J.P. Morgan’s Investment Banking division. Outside of VCG, Brooke enjoys playing piano, tennis, and golf.

David is a sophomore concentrating in economics and statistics on the machine learning track. As Director of Strategy, he manages corporate partnerships and coordinates logistics and programming for the VCG Entrepreneurship Summit. This past summer, David was an investment intern at Stagwell, a NASDAQ-traded media holding company. Beyond VCG, David enjoys singing, lifting, experimenting in the kitchen, and getting lost wandering new cities.

Mizuki is a junior at Harvard College concentrating in Government on a data science track with a secondary in Economics, bringing hands-on experience across venture capital, defense technology, and global strategy. As VCG’s Director of Diligence, Mizuki leads the club’s sourcing and investment analysis operations, having previously helped raised sponsorships as Director of Strategy. Beyond VCG, Mizuki serves as Global Strategy Lead at JEXIM, where she lead institutional engagement across U.S. defense stakeholders, Indonesian sovereign wealth funds, and European development finance institutions, and has held roles at a $2.5B AUM defense VC fund and two startup accelerators. She loves to run, bake, and hike in the AZ heat in her free time.

Frances is a junior concentrating in Applied Math and Economics with a secondary in Government. As VCG’s Director of Recruitment, Frances facilitates the comp and onboarding process. Outside of VCG, Frances enjoys to work out, read, spend time with friends and family, and watch sports (especially teams from her hometown Cleveland, Ohio).

Ellis is a sophomore concentrating in Social Studies with a secondary in Art, Film, and Visual Studies. She is interested in the intersection of venture and creative spaces, having led a women-focused business publication and interned at the U.S. Small Business Administration and the luxury startup Krismarce. Outside of VCG, she is a member of the varsity squash team, Women in Business, and the Harvard Pops Orchestra.
